Andrew is the LOML (love of my life), the photographing genius of our site, and a Redskins fan. After four years of debate and big talk, we finally got off our buns to start a blog chronicling projects in home improvements.
I discovered this passion in 2009 while transitioning a cute bungalow from a frat house to a clean comfy home. If you married a guy who purchased a house prior to dating you, you may be able to relate. That house is located in my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. Since then, we have updated two additional homes in South Carolina (one in Charleston and another in Mount Pleasant).
Andrew recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia for a job. After wrapping up a few things including the sale of house #3 in Charleston, I’ll join him in HOT-lanta and begin the search for house #4.
Join us for a peek into our home, life, and travels.
Hey there, I am Andrew Bunn of Busting Our Bunns!
Things I love are:
- Kathryn
- My family (Any time I can spend with my dad at the gun range, fixing something, or taking pictures is time very well spent)
- Learning pretty much anything: management theory, finance, politics, current events, political philosophy, history… you name it and I will find it interesting as long as it does not involve details about personal relationships between people that do not impact me
- Any Blizzard Game
- Photography
- Spreadsheets
- Reading
- Traveling
- Community service
- Boots & Dutch (crossed Rainbow Bridge April 2014)
- Auburn Football
- The Redskins
- Zombies
While my main job centers around project management for software development companies, I have run a small side business as a Real Estate Photographer for the last couple of years. That was my inspiration for wanting to create this website with Kathryn. As she said, we have been talking about this for a while, and with my move to Atlanta, it was time to get off our Bunns and jump with both feet into a project we could do together even though we are apart.
I hope you enjoy your time with us, and visit often!
Welcome to blogging! Looking forward to your tips. I am better at the garden than I am at the house.
Looking good, now start writing!
